Downloading a print-ready QR code
SVG and PNG exports sized in real millimetres, with the quiet zone included.
On the product page choose SVG (vector, for label designers and printers) or PNG (600 dpi raster). Both are sized by the module size — the X-dimension — in millimetres, and include the four-module quiet zone GS1 requires.
Sizes
The GS1 General Specifications window for QR codes at retail point-of-sale is 0.396 mm minimum, 0.495 mm target, 0.990 mm maximum. The default export uses the target; add ?x_dim=0.6 to the download URL for a bigger module. Sizes outside the window are refused.
Testing before a print run
Scan a printed proof with a phone camera and with the till scanner that will actually see it. Our free scanner test tells you whether a till can read 2D codes at all.
