A product company, not an agency.
PaqLink is built and operated by Mason Ark Holdings in Cape Town, South Africa. We sell software, not consulting hours — every customer gets the same platform, the same standards conformance and the same price list.
Why we built it
Two things happened at once. Wine sold in the EU started needing digital ingredient and nutrition labels, and the global barcode system began its move to 2D codes. The tools available to a South African producer were either generic QR generators with no idea what a GTIN is, or overseas compliance suites priced for multinationals.
PaqLink sits in the gap: a hosted resolver that conforms to the GS1 standard, e-labels that follow the EU's no-tracking rule to the letter, and a price in rand that a family estate or a ten-person food brand can justify on the first label run.
How we work
- We don't manufacture panic. Sunrise 2027 is voluntary and your barcode isn't going anywhere; we say so on our own marketing page.
- We publish what we enforce. Security and standards pages describe the software as it is, including what it doesn't do yet.
- No lock-in by design. Your codes are plain GS1 Digital Link URIs. If you leave, they're still valid.
