The barcode is becoming a QR code. Be ready before your shelf is.
PaqLink generates print-ready, standards-conformant GS1 Digital Link QR codes, hosts the destinations behind them on a conformant resolver, and lets you change where they point at any time — without reprinting a single label.
No card required · Priced in rand · Conforms to GS1 Digital Link 1.7
One QR on the pack. Every job behind it.
A GS1 Digital Link QR carries your GTIN for the till and a web destination for everyone else — consumers, importers, inspectors. PaqLink runs the whole stack.
Conformant by construction
Check digits validated, qualifier order enforced, print sizes within GS1 specifications. Typos are rejected before they reach your packaging — never after.
Editable after printing
The QR points at our conformant resolver, not a hard-coded page. New vintage, recall notice, campaign switch — update the destination, the label never changes.
Hosted e-labels & pages
EU e-labels (multi-language, zero tracking — enforced in software) and clean product pages, served in the shopper's own language automatically.
Batch, serial & expiry
Encode lot (AI 10), serial (AI 21) and expiry (AI 17) into the code, validated against the GS1 syntax, so traceability data rides along with every scan.
Built for teams
Company workspaces with delegated roles on every plan: owners control billing, admins manage the team, members create products. Single-use expiring invites.
Print-ready exports
SVG sized in real millimetres and 600 dpi PNG, quiet zones included, with dual-marking guidance so your EAN/UPC stays exactly where retailers need it.
Scan counts, not surveillance
See how often each product is scanned, per day, and export it as CSV. We store one number per product per day — never IPs, devices or people.
More than one link per code
Attach sustainability, instructions, recall status, recipes or promotions to the same QR as standard GS1 link types — machine-readable to any conformant resolver client.
Security you can read about
Encrypted in transit, hardened session and header policy, signed webhooks, single-use hashed tokens. Our security posture is published, not implied.

- Add your product
Name, GTIN (your barcode number from GS1), and what shoppers should see. We validate everything against the GS1 standard — or import a whole range from CSV.

Download the print-ready symbol and place it next to your existing barcode. Correct size, correct quiet zone, correct syntax.
- Own the scan
Phones open your page or e-label; 2D-ready tills read the GTIN. Change the destination whenever you like.
Our logo is a working QR code. Scan it.
It opens https://paqlink.com on any phone — the same error-corrected, machine-verified symbol we generate for your packaging.
We think a company that puts QR codes on your products should be able to put one on its own name.
Start free. Scale when you print.
Every plan includes conformant QR generation, the hosted resolver, product pages and e-labels, teams, and editable destinations. Plans differ only by how many products you host. Billed in rand by Paystack.

Straight answers
No manufactured urgency. If something isn't a legal requirement, we say so.
Is the 2027 barcode switch a legal requirement?
No. Sunrise 2027 is a voluntary, GS1-coordinated industry milestone: retail tills worldwide aim to be able to scan 2D barcodes by end of 2027. Your current barcode stays on-pack throughout the transition — we tell you this upfront because a vendor who manufactures panic shouldn't be trusted with your packaging.
Do I need a new barcode number?
No. Your existing GTIN — licensed from GS1 (in South Africa, GS1 SA/CGCSA) — goes inside the QR. If you don't have one yet, a single GTIN costs R176 once-off from GS1 SA.
What happens to my QR codes if I cancel?
Your codes and hosted pages stay live for the period you've paid for. We publish our standards conformance precisely so nothing about your codes is proprietary lock-in — they're plain GS1 Digital Link URIs.
Are the EU e-labels actually compliant?
E-label pages are served with zero tracking, zero cookies and zero marketing content, in the languages you provide — the software refuses to serve an e-label containing a script. Confirm final label requirements with your importer; we handle the digital side.
Is PaqLink affiliated with GS1?
No. PaqLink is an independent product that conforms to the published GS1 standards (Digital Link URI 1.7, Conformant Resolver 1.2.1). GS1® is a registered trademark of GS1 AISBL; there is no GS1 certification programme for resolver software.
